Kemion’s Bio-Binder product family provides biodegradable and chloride-free solutions for dust control and various surface stabilization needs. The products are based on wood-derived raw materials such as wood sugars, lignin, and cellulose. These biopolymer solutions are suitable for a wide range of applications and operating conditions.

Bio-Binder products can be used in applications such as:

Bio-Binder LWS
Bio-Binder LWS is a dust binding agent based on wood lignin and sugars, which can be used in road environments as well as a film-forming agent. In road dust control, it gradually forms a hard surface layer, after which only a diluted solution is needed to bind new dust generated from the environment onto the road surface. As a film-forming agent, a single application creates a hard and durable film on the surface of the protected material (e.g., a dusting stockpile).
